Our most frequently asked questions when attending an event in Glasgow.                                                   

Clydeside at night Can I pre-book parking for the event I will be attending?
At present we do not have a pre booking facility in place. A pre pay on arrival facility is available at SECC Car Park for all events. Please see the instructions at the pay machine at the car park.

Should I allow for waiting time at the car park as part of my overall travel plan?
Every effort is made by our staff to ensure smooth entry and exit to our parking facilities. At large events there may a waiting period on arrival at the car park. Please allow for this as part of your journey time. In addition, waiting time in exiting the car park is unavoidable, however we always have extra resources at these events to assist with the quickest possible exit.

What are the disabled parking facilities at SECC Car Park?
There are 66 marked disabled bays spread over levels 0 - 4. These courtesy bays operate on a first come first serve basis and payment is required at the car park pay machines.

How do I get from the SECC Car Park to the Scottish Event Campus / SSE Hydro Arena?
A purpose built public walkway can be found on level 2 of the SECC Car Park which leads to the SSE Hydro Arena on the opposite side of Stobcross Road. Follow the main concourse around the Hydro to reach the main entrance of the Scottish Event Campus.

The multi-storey SECC Car Park does not suit my parking requirements, what are my options?
City Parking are the operators of the new multi-storey SECC Car Park only. Therefore all enquiries for parking in other areas outwith our multi-storey car park should be directed to the operators of these areas.

I am attending an event at Hampden Park, is the temporary car park still available?
Unfortunately due to consistent poor ground conditions we are no longer able to operate the temporary car park on Queens Park recreational ground.
